I was a carpenter for 16 years, then worked in Facilities Management for 20. I'm sure I moved all of you at one point or another and no, I still haven't found that box you are missing.

I retired in 2011 from Power Management as a  Management Systems Analyst. I started with Seattle City Light in 1980 at the Skagit Office in Newhalem.  My current RCLEA role is Vice President of Events, coordinating the Spring and Holiday Luncheons, the Summer Picnic, and other various events.  I thinks it's fun to help organize events and see, with everyone's help, how they come together.

I am currently a Vice President of RCLEA.  Being on the Board is fun and challenging. I worked at City Light from 1974 through 2012, mostly in Customer Service.  I did a lot of work with customers, electric service reps, and streetlight crews.  I was also active in Local 17.  I met my wife-to-be, Judy Jensen, at a CLEA picnic at the Skagit.

I started working at City Light as a Meter Reader in 1979 and retired in 2019 as a Strategic Advisor 3. Little did I know that my job reading meters would open the door to so many opportunities to develop new skills and a love for electric utility systems.  In my various positions I was able to work with people all over the utility on several process improvement programs and information technology implementations.  I am new on the RCLEA Board and assisting Nancy with the secretary role.

I am RCLEA's Treasurer. I was elected to the Board in 2018 and became Treasurer in 2019.  My current term on the Board ends in 2023.  I was hired by City Light in 1980 as a Real Property Agent, spent 23 years in the Real Estate Services Unit, and retired in 2003 as the Manager, Real Estate Services.

I joined the RCLEA board in 2022.  I am currently the Newsletter/Webmaster.  Not sure how this tech dinosaur ended up with these tasks.  I started at City Light in November of 1999 and retired in 2015 with 16 years at the City, 13 of them with City Light.  I was the administrative support person for various Officers and Deputy Superintendents.  I am cat owned.

I worked at City Light just over 20 years, retiring in  2008.  I started as an accountant in 1988, first in Cost, then in General Accounting.  After 10 years there I was promoted to Power Analyst, from which I retired in 2008.  There I was responsible for billing and payment to other utilities as the power flowed back and forth.

I worked in the electric utility industry for more than 34 years. My career started with working 19 years at Seattle City Light (SCL), first in operations based out of the South Service Center, then transferred to the Power Management group working out of the old SCL building, then the Seattle Municipal Tower.  I left SCL to work with the Snohomish Public Utility District from 2007 until 2010.  In 2010, I started working for Bonneville Power Administration until retirement in 2022.  I live in Seattle with my wife Beth.  We have two grown children.
